The challenge
The HR department was struggling with the time-consuming manual processing of working hours.
With 350 workers on sites spread across the country every day, the HR department faced a considerable challenge. Working hours and travel were previously recorded on paper and processed by hand.
This made for a time-consuming process, especially at the end of the month, when the administration team struggled with entering data and calculating mobility allowances.

The solution
GeoDynamics installed black boxes in the vehicles for automatic time registration and integration with the ERP system.
To streamline this process, black boxes and registration panels were installed in 45 vehicles. Workers now register their start and end times with a personal badge. All data is sent to secure servers in real time and is immediately available in the software.
Thanks to the integration with the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV, the data is imported automatically. This not only saves valuable time, it also brings accuracy and efficiency to payroll processing.
Beyond the administrative gains, GeoDynamics supports Building Group Jansen in other ways as well. It provided personal trackers for the team’s climb of Mont Ventoux, for example.
“GeoDynamics proved to be the ideal choice, not only because of the smooth integration with our ERP system, but also thanks to the ease of use and the flexibility of the solution. On top of that, we can always rely on the expertise of the support department, which has helped us out successfully on several occasions.”
