We take the security of stored data very seriously.
That is why we take numerous measures to protect your data and ours as effectively as possible.
The GeoDynamics software application is a centralised application located in a redundant high-availability dual data centre installation. The two centres are linked together and data is continuously synchronised between them. In the event of a failure at one centre, the other takes over automatically.
Our servers are located within the Sentia network, which connects them directly to AMS-IX and BNIX.
Sentia’s implementation security is certified to ISO 27001 standard. Physical access to the servers is strictly controlled and monitored at all times.
Communication between the end user’s browser and the application server takes place via an encrypted connection.
This prevents any interception of data during transmission. We use TLS (Transport Layer Security) to ensure this encryption.
Our servers are located on a private network spanning both centres.
This internal network is furthermore not accessible, or barely accessible, from the internet. Only the necessary services are exposed to the outside world, minimising the attack surface.
Our software is equipped with a high-performance firewall.
This ensures that our servers are shielded from the internet and that only the necessary data requests are allowed through. The firewall is continuously monitored and updated.
Today’s software world faces a large number of security risks.
Our team pays close attention to everything related to security and proactively takes action to address any known vulnerabilities. We regularly carry out security audits and penetration tests.
