Their story
Royal BAM Group, founded in 1869, is a leading European construction group with several subsidiaries in Belgium and worldwide.
Royal BAM Group was founded on 12 May 1869 by Adam van der Wal in Groot-Ammers, the Netherlands, and has grown into a leading European construction group. In 1927 the name was changed to ‘N.V. Bataafsche Aanneming Maatschappij van Bouw- en Betonwerken v/h Firma J. van der Wal en Zoon’, shortened to BAM.
In Belgium, BAM operates through several subsidiaries: BAM Interbuild, specialised in residential and commercial construction, BAM FM, which provides facility services, and Kairos, which focuses on property development. Together, these companies operate under the name BAM Belgium.
With a focus on sustainability and innovation, BAM aims to give its people a safe and challenging working environment. In 2023 the Group employed around 13,500 staff.

The challenge
BAM was looking for an automated system to save time and money, including a direct NSSO link for payroll processing.
Royal BAM Group was looking for an automated system to save both time and money, above all in payroll administration. A key requirement was an automatic link to the NSSO, the Belgian National Social Security Office, for attendance registration — essential for processing wages and allowances correctly.

Many of our sites use the GeoDynamics site punch clock, while road works are better served by other solutions. That has saved us not only time, but money as well.
The solution
BAM chose GeoDynamics for automated attendance registration and real-time fleet management through advanced integration.
After talks with several suppliers, Royal BAM Group decided to work with GeoDynamics. GeoDynamics was one of the first companies to develop an automatic link with the NSSO.
Our solutions automated attendance registration and provided full integration with mobile time registration, so workers could log their own hours via a badge reader or activity panel. That data was processed in real time, which made payroll administration simpler and faster.
Royal BAM Group also chose to equip its fleet of 550 vehicles with GeoDynamics solutions.
“Since GeoDynamics took over our attendance registration, we can rest easy again. The workers log their own time, and we only have to check it and make adjustments where needed.”
